Wastewater treatment plant tests

How to understand the inscription on the wastewater treatment plant certificate: "conforms to the essential requirements of LST EN 12566-3:2007, with the exception of the cleaning efficiency determination method (see appendices 1 and 2)". Shouldn't that be the point - cleaning efficiency? Do they determine the efficiency of cleaning according to formulas that favor them, which they write under perhaps ideal operating conditions?

Cleaning efficiency is really the point. The statement "conforms to the essential requirements of LST EN 12566-3:2007, with the exception of the cleaning efficiency determination method (see Annexes 1 and 2)" does not mean that the cleaning efficiency has not been determined and evaluated, but means that the cleaning efficiency determination method is not as described in LST EN 12566-3:2007 standard. As stated in the certificate, you should look at the appendices, where all the information about efficiency and determination methodology is available.

SPSC issues certificates to all manufacturers under the same conditions, after evaluating the efficiency of treatment plants according to the following documents:

  • "Methodology of initial (technological) assessment of industrial wastewater treatment plants", VĮ Statybos produkcijos sertifikavimo centras, 2003, Vilnius;
  • Regulation on the application of wastewater treatment facilities, approved by the order of the Minister of Environment no. D1-412 (September 11, 2006).
